Delivery and Returns

Gifts and Little Luxuries aims to despatch goods within two working days upon receipt and full payment of an order. Please note that during peak times, despatch times may be slightly longer. When you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us containing details of the items that you have ordered. All deliveries are made by Royal Mail although we may use a courier for heavy or large items. 

 

Our delivery charges are as follows:

Standard delivery to UK mainland addresses

Second Class Royal Mail or courier company - £3.95        

You should expect your goods within two to five working days of despatch

 

Premium Delivery to UK mainland addresses

First Class Royal Mail or courier company - £6.95

You should expect your goods within one to three working days of despatch

 

Next day delivery to UK mainland addresses

Royal Mail or courier company - £11.95

Orders placed before 1.00pm Monday to Friday will be eligible for this option.  However, we would ask that you contact us by telephone first on 07969 573871.

As soon as this has been confirmed on the telephone, orders will be despatched the same working day and will be expected to arrive the next working day. 

 

Postal charges to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands remain the same as UK mainland charges although will be delivered by Royal Mail and not by a courier company. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man may be subject to delays due to customs checks.

 

You will be asked to provide your delivery address at checkout.  Please ensure this is accurate as unfortunately you will incur a fee of £7.50 for delivery of goods to an incorrect address.  If you would like to change a delivery address prior to despatch, please contact us as soon as possible. If we are unable to deliver the goods for any reason other than any cause beyond our reasonable control or if it is a failure on your part and we are accordingly liable to you, our liability shall be limited to the price of the goods.

 

International Delivery

We are sorry, but at present we do not post to international destinations.

 

Signatures upon delivery

On occasion, your order may require a signature upon delivery.  If you require someone else to sign for your delivery, please provide clear details in the 'comments' box of someone who will be able to accept and sign for your delivery.  If a signature is not required and you would like your delivery to be left in a safe place, for example a covered porch, please provide clear details in the 'comments' box.  Gifts and Little Luxuries will not be responsible for any goods which are lost after they have been delivered. 

 

Returns

We naturally hope that you are happy with any orders and products you receive from us but we do understand that there are times when you may need to arrange a return.


Gifts and Little Luxuries will exchange or refund any item you are not happy with or have second thoughts about although we do ask that any products are returned to us in their original condition within seven days of receipt. If you would like to return a product, please contact us by email or alternatively, please telephone us to discuss further. Your invoice will be required as proof of purchase. We are happy to provide a replacement or full product refund upon receipt of the item in perfect condition, together with proof of purchase, subject to these terms. 

 

Unless the goods received are damaged, not as described or defective, you will be responsible for the postal cost of returning the products to Gifts and Little Luxuries. Any goods being returned to us must be in the original packaging and in perfect and undamaged condition. We suggest you use 'Signed For' or 'Special Delivery' when returning goods to us as proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

 

Damaged Items

We ask that you inspect any goods as soon as possible after receipt.  Should an item arrive damaged, please contact Gifts and Little Luxuries within seventy two hours of receipt of your goods. Any damaged goods reported after seventy two hours will not be accepted and full and final acceptance of your order by you will be assumed. We are happy to arrange a replacement or refund as soon as we have confirmed receipt of the faulty or damaged product.

 

Please note that Gifts and Little Luxuries will not accept any returns without prior notification and discussion by email or telephone.
